About Bardo Collections

Established in 2024 in Tunis, Bardo Collections is a contemporary design gallery dedicated to exhibiting, producing, and promoting collectible design from the Global South.

The gallery collaborates with established and emerging creators who share a rigorous approach to material research, technical experimentation, and craftsmanship. Moving beyond traditional production methods, each piece is developed through an exploratory process of sketches, material testing, and local fabrication.

By prioritizing regional production and alternative uses, Bardo shapes objects that transcend simple function to become carriers of narrative, identity, and material memory. Extending this vision, Bardo Collections Studio offers bespoke design services, working closely with clients and architects to realize custom pieces and coherent spatial environments.
